Job Description:

About us

At Technip Energies, we believe in a better tomorrow and aim to make tomorrow better. With approximately 15,000 talented women and men, we are a global leader in engineering and technology, focused on accelerating the energy transition. We design and deliver value-added energy solutions.

Genesis Energies, a business unit of Technip Energies, provides impartial, high-value advisory services for the energy industry. We are a leading provider of decommissioning services with over 25 years of experience and more than 200 completed studies across the energy sector.

We support our clients with environmental, safety, cost, and technical evaluations, including structural, subsea, and marine engineering. We focus on efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility, delivering tailored solutions for our clients' projects.

As demand for decommissioning services grows, Genesis expands its expertise to help clients achieve decommissioning goals and navigate the energy transition.

If you have experience in subsea, structural, or environmental disciplines, or have been involved in Decommissioning Programmes, Comparative Assessments, and supporting studies, we want to hear from you. We also encourage those with transferable skills to apply.

Genesis is considering both permanent and contract positions across various experience levels to expand our decommissioning capabilities.

  • We seek experienced and upcoming Decommissioning Study Managers / Project Engineers to support multi-discipline decommissioning projects.
  • You will play a key role in early-phase project decision-making, working collaboratively to optimize efficiency, simplify interfaces, and reduce management burden.
  • Your responsibilities include delivering Comparative Assessments, defining decommissioning philosophies, supporting asset decommissioning, producing Decommissioning Programmes, and liaising with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • The Environmental Team, comprising around 40 members in the UK, is expanding due to increasing requests for Environmental Impact Assessments for offshore projects. We seek someone interested in applying EIA to offshore project assessments.
  • You will be part of the Environmental & ESG Team, supporting diverse projects related to the energy industry, including leading environmental studies such as Survey Scoping, Comparative Assessments, and Stakeholder Management.

Subsea

  • We are seeking a Subsea Decommissioning Engineer with expertise in the safe removal of subsea infrastructure, subsea engineering, and decommissioning experience, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • You will support planning and execution of decommissioning projects, including pipeline and subsea structure removal assessments, Comparative Assessments, and scope of works preparation.
  • You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to develop strategies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
