We are seeking expressions of interest from professionals interested in joining our established ISA & CE&I Engineering delivery teams based in Whitehaven. You will join an experienced team with diverse industry knowledge.

The Opportunities

Opportunities include working on the ISA, a true alliance-style contract to decommission Europe’s most complex nuclear site. The ISA enhances Sellafield Ltd’s capability to deliver program management and project delivery for infrastructure assets, mainly utility assets. Arup, in joint venture with Morgan Sindall, brings best practices from other utilities and infrastructure programs, emphasizing risk reduction and innovation. We support Sellafield Ltd in delivering high quality, efficient, and safe outcomes.

We welcome candidates at all seniority levels with experience in:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A relevant technical degree (e.g., civil engineering, MSc in engineering, or equivalent) and aspirations for professional accreditation
  • Knowledge of design tools such as IT systems, BIM, thermal/energy analysis, and calculation packages
  • Experience in MV/LV power design and distribution
  • A passion for design delivery and coordinating multidisciplinary projects, with exposure to AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Micro-drainage
  • Possession of P4/P1 pass and BPSS/SC clearance is advantageous; otherwise, the role requires obtaining these clearances, including Scottish Disclosure or equivalent.
