Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics professional to deliver exposure management insights for underwriting teams in London. You will roll up exposure data for internal and regulatory needs, ensure data and methodologies are up to date, and communicate results to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and collaboration across groups. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a numerical discipline and hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, Python or R, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in numerical/analytical discipline.
• Recent graduates or candidates with relevant analytical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience or interest in coding, data analysis and quantitative problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Excel, SQL, Python, R, VBA or similar tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exposure information and portfolio trend insights to Underwriting teams.
• Deliver exposure roll-ups to the Hiscox Group for internal, investor and regulatory needs.
• Ensure data, methodologies and assumptions are current and correct.
• Review and communicate results with Underwriting teams.
• Improve exposure management approaches and implement solutions to questions.
