A leading logistics company in the UK is seeking an experienced Exports Logistics Planner to provide administrative support to the Commercial Team and manage customer relations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in an office environment, excellent decision-making skills, and a proactive approach to work. This is a full-time position based in Doncaster, offering a competitive salary and company benefits.

The Group s companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The company also produces biofuels and renewable energy and provides services for farming and the food industry. The company has a UK annual turnover approaching GBP280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 19 sites across the country.
The Position
Applications are invited for an Exports Logistics Planner based at our SARIA Ltd, Doncaster site. This is a full time, permanent, position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
As an Exports Logistics Planner, your duties and responsibilities will vary on the Company s requirements but will include the following:
• Providing administrative support to the Commercial Team.
• Managing the customer account databases; including data entry, analysis and customer KPI reporting.
• Call handling customer enquiries and sales support.
• Managing the filing systems.
• To complete export documentation, re-scheduling, invoicing, shipping documents.
• Build strong relationships both internally in the organisation and externally with customers.
• Managing sales enquiries and coordinating sales.
• Scheduling customer collections and deliveries of finished products.
• Management of sales contracts.
• Arranging and scheduling transport.
• General administration duties.
• Any other ad hoc duties as required.
The Person
• Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role is essential, with prior export experience considered an advantage.
• Have 5 GCSE s at grade 5 or above (including Maths and English) or equivalent qualifications.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong willingness to lean.
• Have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Have sound decision making skills, including the ability to analyse information from multiple sources.
• Be able to prioritise workload accordingly.
