Position: Export Operator - European Road & Sea Freight

Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to 30,000

Hours: Mon-Fri - 9am-17:30pm

Are you an experienced Export Operator with a passion for European and Sea Freight logistics? We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join a well-established, family-run logistics company based in Southampton - a business known for its personal approach, long-standing client relationships, and unwavering commitment to service excellence.

You'll play a key role in managing European road and sea freight export shipments while handling customs entries for both via CDS. It's a hands-on role where your expertise will be valued, your ideas heard, and your growth supported.

Key role & Responsibilities

  • Managing export shipments across European road and sea freight
  • Completing CDS customs entries accurately and efficiently
  • Liaising with clients, shipping lines, and customs authorities
  • Coordinating transport, documentation, and end-to-end shipment tracking
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in export operations, ideally with both road and sea freight
  • Strong understanding of customs clearance and the CDS platform
  • Great communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
