Job summary

Computacenter in Hatfield is seeking an Export Specialist to join the Export Management Team to ensure smooth, compliant international trade across five countries. The role combines hands-on analysis with process improvement and close collaboration with sales and compliance.

You will own reporting, help manage licenses and exceptions, and represent the group in trade discussions, building a long-term career in global IT logistics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of Bills of Materials for large scale AI deployments to determine export compliance requirements.
• Oversee Export Licences and Re-export Licence Exceptions for US origin products.
• Communicate daily and lead meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage queries related to exports, imports and trade compliance.
• Create and analyse regular and ad-hoc reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and reduce compliance risks.
• Own the system for our export tool.

Job description

We’re looking for an Export Specialist to join our Export Management Team, to support us in ensuring a smooth and compliant international trade across five countries.

Based in our Hatfield office (ideally), you’ll work as part of our export and import team, ensuring operational efficiency and legal compliance across all international trading. You’ll have the opportunity to continuously improve processes, enhance reporting, and directly contribute to high impact business outcomes.

You’ll be working closely with key stakeholders across our business from sales leaders to our trade compliance officers and the opportunity to represent our Group Export Manager when required.
