Job description

We are currently managing a permanent opportunity for a leading shipping and freight forwarding company, specializing in direct services to Scandinavia and mainland Europe. They provide competitive, flexible, and customized transport and logistics solutions across land, sea, and air.

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team.

Salary: Up to 35k depending on skills and experience.

Role Description (Depending on Experience)
  • Export Customs Clearances
  • NCTS Transit T-Forms
  • Using related software such as Destin8, CDS, NCTS, CNS, Descartes
  • Administration Tasks
Hours of Work
  • Monday, Wednesday: 0900-1700hrs
  • Thursday, Friday: 0900-1700hrs (flexible until finish)
On-call Requirements
  • Weekdays (Monday to Thursday): 1 night in 4 with allowance paid
  • Weekends (Friday evening and Saturday): 1 in 4 weekends, with the following Monday off
Person Specification
  • Confident and approachable
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ideally 1-2 years' experience in customs entries (considering no experience if necessary)
  • Desirable: experience in Port Health, Licences, ATA Carnets
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service
  • Good decision-making skills, able to evaluate, prioritize, and respond to changing workloads
  • Methodical, logical, with good problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a time-critical environment
  • IT literate
  • Willingness to learn other roles within the team
  • Passionate about doing the job right
