Job summary

GCHQ offers an exciting opportunity to join our Communications Exploitation development team in Cheltenham. You will develop the skills to exploit global communications through a mix of on-the-job training, prototyping, and experimentation.

As an Exploitation Engineer, you’ll work in an Agile team to design, develop and deploy technical solutions across the full engineering lifecycle, using software, firmware, and hardware disciplines.

Qualifications

• STEM subject background through diploma, foundation degree, apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Interest in developing technical skills and learning mindset.
• Knowledge of at least one of FPGAs/VHDL, signal processing or RF concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy technical solutions across lifecycle.
• Work in an Agile team with software/firmware/hardware components.
• Collaborate with operators to deploy technologies across networks and platforms.
