Job description

Expert Witness - HCPC Clinical Psychologist

£60-£90 per hour

No admin or report writing included, face to face evidenced based assessment only.


Key notes:

  1. Zero hours – Pick the hours that work for you. If you are looking for an additional income, this is the ideal role to work alongside your current place of work.
  2. Pick from weekdays, evenings and weekends.
  3. This is a clinic-based role. There are multiple clinics in and around the region – you will service the nearest to your postcode area.
  4. Assessments are 1-hour slots, including completing a Proforma which is provided by the client.
  5. Fuel cost will be expensed.

You will complete assessments for Personal injury victims, crime and immigration related cases.

  1. Personal injury – Mental and functional health assessment on the impact and mental adjustments a work-related, traffic accident or clinical negligence claim has had on the client.
  2. Crime related cases – Assessing fitness to stand trial, tribunal and if reoffending is likely.
  3. Immigration cases – Determining the mental capacity and level of vulnerability of those facing deportation.
  4. Conditions covered – PTSD, Trauma, Flashbacks, anxiety and depression.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical psychology experience.
  • 1 full year on the HCPC registration.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools.

Essential documentation:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full DBS
  • ICO certified under GDPR legalities.
  • Indemnity Insurance - referencing medico-legal with a minimum cover of 5 million.
