Expert Scientific Writer – Medical / Pharma

Contract role – 6 months, extendable

Rate = €450-550 per day (Ireland based) or £400-500 per day (UK based) DOE

Location: UK or Ireland based candidates only. Hybrid or remote working options available.

Role overview: The Expert Scientific Writer will work within the internal medical communications team of a multinational pharmaceutical organization. Responsibilities include managing and delivering high-quality medical communication projects such as publications, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, satellite symposia content, congress or advisory board reports, publication planning, and medical education materials for internal medical and clinical teams.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of a science degree; MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred
• At least 5+ years of experience in medical communications
• Proven ability to produce various scientific content across medical communications areas
• Expertise in medical/scientific/therapeutic area content for publications and materials
• Ability to interpret and apply clinical data effectively
• Strong medical/scientific knowledge relevant to the created content
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication, writing, and listening skills
