This role is pivotal in managing and delivering a range of high-quality scientific content, including publications and educational materials, with a focus on oncology, neurology, and other therapeutic areas. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience and relevant qualifications, ensuring exceptional communication of complex scientific information.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years experience in medical communications.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete high-quality medical communications deliverables.
• Create content for publications, manuscripts, abstracts, and reports.
• Collaborate with internal medical and clinical teams on projects.

Expert Scientific Writer required for internal med comms (Medical Communications) team of a Multinational Pharmaceutical Organisation. Your role will be to manage and complete assigned Medical Communications deliverables at high quality standards and in accordance with agreed timelines. Projects include publications, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, satellite symposia content, congress or advisory board reports, publication planning & medical education materials for internal medical and/or clinical teams.

Experience required:

• Education Qualification - Science degree as a minimum & preferably Masters of PhD qualified (MSc, PhD, PharmD or MD)
• Extensive experience – Minimum of 5+ years experience in medical communications essential
• Range of Scientific writing content deliverables across med comms areas listed above
• Medical writer / Medical or Healthcare Scientific writing expertise
• Specific command of medical therapeutic areas (medical/scientific/therapeutic area content) for publications and materials
• Proven ability to Interpret and apply clinical data in medical communication deliverables
• Medical / Scientific knowledge & understanding of relevant content created
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Exceptional communication, writing and listening skills
