Up to £75,000 DOE | £5,000 Welcome / Relocation Bonus | No OOH | Visa Sponsorship Available Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where you can develop clinically, feel genuinely supported, and enjoy a healthy work-life balance? At Leigh Vets for Pets, we're growing and looking for a like-minded vet to join us on the next stage of our journey. This is a chance to become part of a progressive, well-supported team where your development, wellbeing, and ideas are valued every day.

Why Join Us?

We've built a culture we're proud of - supportive, stable, and focused on doing things properly. Our Practice Manager, Sara, started with us in 2017 and progressed into leadership, reflecting our commitment to developing our people from within. Many of our team have been here for years, which says a lot about the environment we've created together. We believe great veterinary care starts with a well-supported team. Diaries are carefully managed to prevent overload, and our experienced nursing team provides strong clinical and practical support throughout the day. The result is a smoother workflow and more time to focus on cases, not chaos.

The Practice

Our modern, purpose-built surgery is designed to support high clinical standards and in-house case workups.

• RCVS accredited
• ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Practice
• Working towards RWAF accreditation
• Fully equipped, modern clinical facilities

We see a varied and growing caseload, with strong client loyalty and a focus on continuity of care. There's excellent opportunity to build on your interests and develop further clinical skills.

We fully fund certificates and actively encourage further study. New ideas and different approaches are always welcomed—we learn from each other and continuously improve how we work.

The Role

• 30-35 hours per week
• 1:4 Saturday rota
• No on-call
• No out-of-hours

We're looking for a confident vet comfortable with routine medical and surgical cases, with occasional sole charge. You'll be trusted with autonomy but backed by a supportive, experienced team.

What You'll Get

• Salary up to £75,000 Pro Rata, DOE
• £5,000 welcome or relocation bonus*
• Relocation support (UK & international)
• Visa sponsorship (A+ rated sponsor)
• Fully funded certificates
• Paid professional memberships
• Pension & healthcare package
• Retail and lifestyle discounts (including up to 30% off Pets at Home)
