Job summary

A family-run garage in Southampton is seeking an experienced car mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence and experience in a busy workshop. An MOT testing licence is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills and a flexible attitude are essential. Salary is dependent on experience.

Job description

Hopkins Autoworks is looking for an experienced/qualified car mechanic to join our busy, family run garage in Calmore, Southampton, on a full-time, permanent basis. Being an MOT tester would be an advantage, although not essential.

Applicants must:

Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and no disqualifications within the last 5yrs (applicants will be subject to licence checks)

Have experience of working within a professional, busy workshop environment

Hold a valid class 4 & 7 MOT testing licence (if applicable)

Have excellent customer service skills

Have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to working
