Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician.
• MOT Testing Licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and routine maintenance on various makes and models.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmission and electrical systems.
• Carry out air conditioning servicing and re-gassing.
• Conduct MOT testing and preparation work where qualified.
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and health and safety standards.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Support fellow technicians as needed.
