Job summary

Playground Games is seeking an experienced UI Engineer to support the Forza Horizon team here in Leamington Spa. The role is on-site at the studio, with engagement through a managed service provider.

You will work with art, design and engineering to deliver UI features across our custom engine, focusing on performance and robust UI systems. Strong C++ skills and a passion for games are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on at least one published title (ideally AAA).
• Strong C++ experience.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as WPF.
• Autonomous and able to collaborate in a large multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Implement UI features that are central to project vision.
• Develop core UI and engine features within our custom, proprietary engine.
• Collaborate with the UI Art team to empower them through our technology.
• Be a key player within a large multi-disciplinary team.
