Qualifications

• Experience as a Transport Operator is essential.
• Must be a confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Excellent knowledge of UK geography required.

Responsibilities

• Deal with multiple drivers and communicate effectively.
• Book delivery slots at ports and manage driver's schedules.
• Ensure all PODs match the correct jobs in the system.

Dealing with multiple drivers

Communicating with ports

Booking delivery slots for entry in ports

Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times

Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time

Rerouting jobs as and when is needed

Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system

• Previous experience as a Transport Operator - Essential
