Job Description:

My client is a West Yorkshire based engineering company that employs more than 100 people and has been established for more than 50 years. They design, fabricate, and install structural steel work and associated secondary metal work for a wide range of industrial and building projects, covering sectors such as pharmaceutical, manufacturing, chemical, and water treatment.

Due to an increased workload and a strong pipeline of future business, they are looking to expand their drafting team with more Tekla technicians. Ideally, you will be an experienced Tekla technician able to draw in 2D/3D and create Tekla models. You should be capable of producing plans, sections, elevations, and general arrangement drawings for a variety of steel structures. You will be joining a team of experienced Tekla draughters within the wider engineering team. Candidates with experience in similar software for steelwork projects, such as Xsteel or StruCAD, will also be considered.
