Experienced Senior Support Worker (Automatic Driver Required)
Location: Wickford (with occasional travel to Colchester)
Salary: £13.26 per hour
Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (rota includes nights, weekends & bank holidays)
You must be able to drive automatic vehicles and have the right to work full-time in the UK without sponsorship.

At Aspirations Care, we're looking for a Senior Support Worker in Wickford to help shape a positive, person-centred service for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Occasional travel to Colchester is required as part of the rota.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support individuals with daily living, social engagement & independence
- Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver outstanding care
- Maintain accurate records and risk assessments (paper and electronic)
- Drive company vehicles (automatic) to support service user outings
- Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and the wider team
- Foster a safe, caring, and empowering home environment
- Help shape a responsive, inclusive, and well-led service
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and person-centred practice at all times
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years' experience in social care, including time as a Senior Support Worker
- Full UK driving licence - confident driving automatic vehicles
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 2 (minimum), and willing to work towards Level 3
- Solid understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs
- Competent with IT - Word, email, record keeping, and care systems
- Strong leadership skills, flexibility, and a positive, proactive mindset
- Experience with safeguarding, risk assessment, team supervision, and promoting independence
