Are you a confident, experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students' personal growth as well as their academic progress?

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming secondary school in Sefton who are seeking an experienced classroom practitioner with strong pastoral experience to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys making a difference both inside and outside the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in your subject specialism
• Providing pastoral support and guidance to students
• Managing behaviour in a positive and proactive way
• Working closely with the pastoral and safeguarding teams to promote student wellbeing
• Supporting pupils with academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Contributing to the wider school community through form tutor and enrichment responsibilities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK schools (secondary experience preferred)
• Strong pastoral background - e.g. form tutor, head of year, or safeguarding experience
• Confident classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, empathy, and resilience
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold a Child-Only Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Tradewind Recruitment
