Are you our ideal candidate?

We're looking for someone with clinical experience in first opinion practice - a great allrounder who enjoys coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.

You will be keen to engage in driving the clinical services and standards forward and enthusiastic to be involved in decision making processes about the direction of care for our patients.

A passion for surgery would be particularly welcomed and we are very glad to support further training including certificates.

The Role:

• Salary - up to £70,000 depending on experience
• Preferably full-time between the hours of 8.30am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday
• 40hrs/week but open to discussion on working patterns for the right person (part-time considered)
• No weekends!
• No OOH work as we use a local referral centre to provide cover
• We close EVERYDAY for a lunchbreak to ensure that everyone gets time to sit down and eat without being disturbed.

We are a highly respected, RCVS accredited practice that has been providing outstanding, compassionate care to local pets across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire since 1903.

Our main practice is in the small market town of Lechlade, on the southern edge of the Cotswolds. Surrounded by peaceful countryside walks, we offer a relaxed working environment where the focus is on client care and having an enjoyable workplace.

Our highly qualified team has access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities such as a digital x-ray machine, ultrasound, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, compressed air powered dental tools, an in-house laboratory and more, allowing us to deliver the best service to our clients and their pets, many of whom are longstanding clients (and friends).

The Team:

Our dedicated and skilled team comprises of two FTE Vets, a Practice Manager/RVN, three experienced RVNs and two SVNs plus of course our valued admin colleagues.

Bridge Vets is situated in beautiful Lechlade on Thames, doorstep to the Cotswolds. There are lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs plus great walks in the stunning surrounding countryside. The Cotswold Water Park is on our doorstep too with plenty of opportunity to get involved with a variety of water sports.
