Overview

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Bradford. Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience). Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential permanent opportunities. Start date: ASAP. The Education Network is working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Bradford to recruit an Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. This role is ideally suited to a skilled practitioner with a strong background in supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

Role
  • Provide targeted support for students with a range of additional needs, both 1:1 and in small group settings.
  • Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to implement tailored interventions and support plans.
  • Contribute to the development of differentiated learning strategies and resources.
  • Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social skills.
  • Monitor progress, record outcomes, and adapt approaches to ensure positive impact.
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have a proven track record of supporting students with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of strategies for supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Be confident in adapting classroom practice to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply).
