Main Duties

2. Join us as an Experienced Security Officer and be part of a team at Mitie that protects people, property, and assets.
3. You will be part of a team working with our NHS client at Cumberland Infirmary.

5. The shift pattern will be 12 hours on a 4 on 4 off rotation, including day/night shifts, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
6. PMVA or Maybo qualification is required.

Job Overview

1. To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any updates.
2. Deliver results that meet or exceed KPIs and SLA for the customer, ensuring full responsibility and accountability to help retain the contract.
3. Undertake ongoing training for continuous self-development.

Operations

1. Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law.
2. Complete all site tasks as defined in the published AI's.
3. Review and familiarize yourself with AI's regularly, suggesting improvements where possible.
4. Obtain and wear an SIA front-line license at all times during duties, along with any additional required courses.
5. Follow instructions and safety procedures appropriately.
6. Work systematically and methodically.

Training

1. Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
2. Undertake additional training for self-development as directed.
3. Use technology to achieve work objectives and develop your expertise.
4. Renew your license at least 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety

1. Report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
2. Stay alert to threats or changes in the environment and act accordingly.
3. Use common sense and involve others if a situation becomes threatening.
4. Maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
5. Record incidents accurately and promptly.
6. Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment.
7. Carry out check calls as stipulated.
8. Report incidents to emergency services and the Communication Centre.

What We Are Looking For

1. Previous security experience.
2. SIA license.
3. PMVA or Maybo experience.
