Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repairs
– Carry out minor repairs, maintenance tasks, and general upkeep of the school premises.
Security
– Ensure the safety and security of the school, including unlocking/locking buildings, checking alarms, and monitoring access points.
Cleaning & Hygiene
– Oversee cleanliness, conduct routine inspections, and ensure all areas are well-maintained.
Safety Compliance
– Conduct regular health and safety checks, fire drills, and risk assessments.
Logistics Support
– Set up spaces for events, receive deliveries, and manage storage.
What We’re Looking For:
? Previous experience in a caretaking or facilities management role (preferred but not essential).
? Strong practical skills for general repairs and maintenance.
? Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
? Knowledge of health and safety regulations (or willingness to learn).
? Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
