Overview

Our client, a well-established law firm, is seeking to appoint an experienced Property Paralegal to join their expanding team.

The Role

You will be providing key support within the busy Social Housing Property department. The work will be varied and will cover a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, plot sales, shared ownership matters (such as staircasing, assignments, and lease extensions), Land Registry applications and requisitions, as well as other general property matters.

Skills & Experience required
  • Previous experience handling sales, purchases, leases, and property-related transactions, ideally within the social housing sector.
  • A solid understanding of the conveyancing process, with the ability to manage your own caseload.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates to clients.
  • A collaborative approach, balanced with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Detail-focused, proactive, and professional, with a positive and adaptable attitude.
Additional Information

The role will initially be office-based in Exeter to allow for integration into the team and access to training and support. A hybrid working pattern is available following this, although the successful candidate will be expected to attend the office at least two days per week, as well as for court hearings and other work-related commitments.
