Job description

Our client is a leading Development and Design consultancy, designing and developing multi-useschemes. Acting as architect and developer, they havedelivered award-winning hospitality and residential projects in London and the UK.

They are based in west Londonandlooking for afully qualifiedarchitect witha minimum of7 years’ experience managing construction projects on-site with strong project and budget management skills.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with the execution of the detail design during construction, administration of contracts, building regulation compliance, critical appraisal of sub-contract proposals, project programming and on-site delivery and quality control. Experience on residential projects and listed buildings is key. The role is to ensure the integrity of the design and built quality is maintained and ensuring full compliance with regulations. Additionally, the candidate will havean attention to detail and a strong visual awareness, with experience of working from design development through to managing construction contracts and demonstrable refurbishment experience.A proven track record delivering high-quality large, complex projects is expected with good project management skills, leading on design excellence.

Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction technology, UK planning policies and procurement methods, as well as good communication (excellent spoken and written English)and organisational skills, are essential.Full working experience of Vectorworks is preferred.
