Job summary

Saputo, Inc. in Nuneaton is seeking an experienced Production Operator for our 12°C production area. You will join the Operations team, support cheese processing, packing, and line setup, and help uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires manual handling, machine operation, and flexibility to work a morning shift (6am–2pm), 37.5 hours/week, with a site bonus scheme and pension contributions. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as an operator in a food production environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety and food safety.
• Comfortable with manual handling.
• Able to adapt to changing production environments.
• Experience with various machinery.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Operations team in a 12°C environment.
• Carry out manual handling, cheese cutting, yield monitoring and line setup.
• Operate wrapping machines and material handling equipment.
• Follow SOPs, site policies and SSOW to ensure safe production.

• Working as part of the Operations team in an air temperature of 12°C
• Carrying out a variety of manual handling tasks, cheese cutting, yield understanding & control, line set up, operation of wrapping machines, using machinery and materials handling equipment
