Job description

Blue Arrow is seeking experienced Food Production Operatives in Whitefield, Bury.

These roles are temporary to permanent, with candidates securing a permanent position after passing their probation period.

Applicants should have strong manufacturing experience, preferably in food production.

The role involves working in the process department with rotating day and night shifts: 6am-6pm/6pm-6am, 7am-7pm/7pm-7am, and 8am-8pm/8pm-8am, Monday to Thursday.

Candidates must be able to work on a weekly rotational basis for day and night shifts.

The hourly rate is £13.31.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
  • Monitor quality at your designated area.
  • Maintain performance by following plant setup, technical specs, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support skilled operators and FLMs during plant setup and changeovers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Adhere to food safety policies during handling, preparation, and storage.
  • Follow health and safety practices at all times.
  • Participate in training and development initiatives.
