Get Recruited (UK) Ltd in Bury is partnering with an established Chartered Accountants firm to recruit an Accountant with a minimum of four years' UK practice experience. The role handles a varied portfolio including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, pension schemes, trusts and individuals.

You will prepare year-end statutory accounts, company tax computations, personal tax returns, and provide client liaison.

Qualificações

• Minimum of four years' recent practical experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong experience preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Good knowledge of corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Confident liaising directly with clients and explaining financial information clearly.
• Commercially aware, including an understanding of fees and the practice business model.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Producing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and other unincorporated businesses.
• Preparing accounts for pension schemes, trusts and other specialist entities.
• Completing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Preparing personal tax returns.
• Liaising directly with clients regarding accounts, taxation and routine queries.
• Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation where required.
• Producing management accounts.
• Assisting clients with tax planning and company statutory matters.
• Maintaining accurate working papers and client records.
• Travelling occasionally to meet clients and other business contacts.
