Job summary

SSE plc based in Scotland is seeking an experienced Planner to support onshore, offshore and development projects within SSEN Transmission. You will develop and manage schedules across the full lifecycle to keep delivery on track and provide insight for decision makers.

Ideal candidates bring Primavera P6 expertise, strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach. This permanent hybrid role requires travel to SSE offices and sites when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning/scheduling for major infrastructure or large capital projects.
• Strong Primavera P6 skills to build and analyse schedules.
• Understanding of NEC3 or FIDIC contract planning requirements is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage high-quality project schedules across the full project lifecycle.
• Use Primavera P6 to build, update and analyse project plans and milestones.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, commercial, site delivery and contractors.
• Review and improve schedules to support informed decisions.
• Provide clear reporting and insights to leaders on performance and action points.
