4Xtrahands Limited is recruiting an experienced Pig Stockperson for an indoor/outdoor pig enterprise in West Yorkshire, LS22. You will work alongside an experienced team to manage daily duties of an 850-sow unit, taking pigs through to 7-kilo weaners while upholding welfare and driving unit efficiency.

Accommodation is not available, so candidates must commute to LS22. Applications from UK or EU nationals with the right to work in the UK are welcome.

Ref 1937 West Yorkshire We're recruiting for an experienced Pig Stockperson for an indoor/outdoor pig enterprise in West Yorkshire, LS22.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day workings of the 850-sow unit, taking the pigs through to 7-kilo weaners. They use a batch system with dry sows indoors and farrowing outdoors. You will be expected to take ownership of your responsibilities, maintain high standards and help ensure the unit operates efficiently while keeping pig welfare at the heart of everything you do.

Salary

Salary: £32,000 £38,000 p/a DOE
