As a key member of the science department your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Physics across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 including ALevel Physics
Planning and delivering highquality Physics lessons that challenge students and foster a passion for the subject
Supporting and mentoring less experienced staff or trainees sharing your expertise as a seasoned Physics Teacher
Contributing to the development and refinement of the Physics curriculum at all key stages
Taking an active role in the schools wider academic life including leading or supporting sciencerelated extracurricular activities
Using assessment and data to support student progress and ensure high levels of achievement in Physics
We are seeking an experienced Physics Teacher who:
Holds QTS and has significant experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (ALevel)
Has a deep understanding of Physics and the ability to engage and inspire students at all levels
Is committed to delivering outstanding lessons and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Has excellent classroom management skills and a track record of raising achievement in Physics
Is willing to share best practices and contribute to the development of the science department
Is committed to their own professional development and staying uptodate with the latest teaching strategies and subject developments
