Job summary

Regional Recruitment Ltd in Leicester is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator for a permanent, full-time role. You will carry out painting and decorating works at customer sites, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of experience, strong surface preparation and finishing skills, and a valid UK driving licence is desirable. The role offers varied domestic and commercial projects with DOE salary and development

Qualifications

• Essential: 5-6 years experience as Painter & Decorator.
• Good knowledge of painting and decorating techniques.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and achieve a high-quality finish.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating works at agreed customer sites.
• Prepare surfaces including walls, ceilings, woodwork prior to painting.
• Apply paints, primers, undercoats and finishes to a high standard.
• Carry out wallpaper hanging and other decorating works where required.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with company procedures.
• Working safely and maintaining a clean, professional working environment.
• Liaise with the Operations Supervisor regarding schedules and daily activities.
