Telford and Wrekin Council is recruiting two Occupational Therapists to deliver the Making Prevention Real pilot at the front door of Adult Social Care. You will join a multidisciplinary team, work with partners, and apply an OT First approach to prevention, enabling earlier intervention and independence.

The role focuses on assessment, enablement, and collaboration to shape service delivery and improve outcomes for residents in Telford and Wrekin.

Qualifications

• Qualified OT registered with HCPC.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Understanding of proportionate care.
• Prevention-focused and innovative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Deliver a Making Prevention Real pilot service at the front door.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and apply OT First approach.
• Lead occupational therapy practice and champion strengths-based care.
• Assess and identify appropriate level of care, ensuring person-centred, least restrictive interventions.
