Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is seeking experienced Nursery Nurses to work across nursery and early years settings in Croydon. The successful candidates will provide high-quality care and support to young children, helping them develop through play, structured activities and everyday routines.

The role offers full-time, long-term day-to-day supply with reliable daily pay and a dedicated consultant. DBS checks or updates are required, and safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Nursery Nurse or early years setting.
• Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare or equivalent.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children in an early years setting.
• Support children's learning and development through play.
• Assist with communication, language, physical and social development.
• Support daily routines, activities and transitions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Support children with SEN and additional needs where required.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
