Job description

Company: Pan Euro group that is looking for developers at the senior level to help develop internal applications and systems that will be used group wide through Europe and then as expansions takes shape, globally.

The org has a sizeable software team within the MS stack domain; as such, there will be opportunities to grow and take your career in an exciting direction, whether that be architecture or management.

Role:

1. Undertake various development projects and ensure that these are implemented to agreed timescales.
2. Provide input on architecture and design for the larger, more complex projects.
3. Ensure that development standards and conventions are adhered to throughout all projects.
4. Ensure that all requests are dealt with promptly and prioritized where necessary.
5. Mentor other members of the team.

Skills and Requirements:

Essential:

1. Advanced knowledge of C#.net/ASP.net/ASP.NET MVC/Javascript/Web Api
2. Advanced knowledge of object orientation and layered application architecture
3. Experience of developing enterprise-level applications
4. Experience of working within a structured software development/delivery team
5. Strong interpersonal communication skills
6. Experience of developing using a TDD/BDD approach
7. Keen interest in learning new technologies and in sharing technical knowledge

Desirable:

1. Experience of working in a regulated financial services environment
2. AngularJS/WPF/XML/SQL Server Programming (stored procs, views, functions, etc.)
3. Entity Framework (or similar ORM)
4. Service Oriented Architecture
5. Scrum/Agile Methodologies
