Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse (Band 5) to join our NICU team in Bristol. The post targets registered nurses (adult or child) or registered midwives with preceptorship and QIS Neonatal qualification, offering opportunities for professional development and flexible working.

We welcome applications from those who uphold high standards of care; expect to work within a large MDT and contribute to continued excellence in neonatal services within a leading NHS

Qualificações

• Effective communication skills, verbally and written.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Able to complete appropriate documentation accurately.
• IT skills, basic word, Email, keyboard skills, data collection.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate prescribed treatment and care for patients and their families.
• Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality with patient’s carers and the multi-disciplinary team.
• Act as a professional role model setting standards of practice.
• Promote clinical effectiveness and opportunities for teaching junior colleagues and students.
• Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Administer medicines in accordance with Trust policy.
• Develop clinical skills and participate in continuous professional development.
• Provide accurate timely contemporary records of care and treatment in line with Trust record keeping policy and NMC.
