We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to succeed our current engineer due to retirement. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience with high-temperature industrial process plant and materials handling, including refractory design and installation. Reporting to the managing director, you will work independently after familiarization with our technologies and eventually oversee the mechanical engineering department. Responsibilities include conceptual process design, drawing and manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of plant. Key skills include intellectual rigor, technical knowledge, good communication, and collaboration. The role involves:

• CAD drawing using Inventor at conceptual and manufacturing stages
• Reviewing fabricators’ drawings for quality control
• Fault diagnosis and rectification
• Implementing maintenance and spares management
• Testing on pilot plants
• Managing the mechanical engineering team
• Liaison with suppliers
• Supporting procurement processes

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in mechanical or process engineering, especially thermal processes and materials handling
• Interest in gas/solid processing
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work remotely
