Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to succeed our current senior engineer, who is retiring. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience with high-temperature industrial process plant and materials handling, including refractory design and installation.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work independently after familiarization with our technology and will eventually oversee the mechanical engineering functions. Responsibilities include conceptual design, CAD drawing, review of manufacturing drawings, fault diagnosis, maintenance, testing, managing the engineering team, liaising with suppliers, and supporting procurement.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience in mechanical or process engineering, especially thermal processes and materials handling
• Interest in gas/solid processing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work remotely
• Valid UK residence and work permits
