Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines. Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products for display in the meat case to promote sales. Provides excellent customer service and adheres to all sanitation and safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work consistently to provide excellent customer service.
• Greet customers with a smile, make eye contact, and thank them.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Cut and prepare meat using knives, saws, cubers, and grinders.
• Ensure proper wrapping, weighing, and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Follow all corporate meat department procedures and standards.
• Adhere to sanitation and temperature guidelines, including inspection standards.
• Receive and inspect all meat deliveries.
• Control shrink through policy adherence.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
