Join Our Client's Team as a Maintenance Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping things working behind the scenes? We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain the physical integrity and safety of our apartment community. From HVAC and electrical repairs to snow removal and unit make-readies, your role is essential to delivering the high-quality living experience our residents expect.

As a Maintenance Tech, you'll report to both the Service Manager and Property Manager, playing a vital role in diagnosing problems and making timely repairs in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and more. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and love variety in your work, this is the job for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Commit to a 24-hour on-call rotation; respond to emergencies within 15 minutes and begin repairs within 30 minutes.
  • Prepare vacant units for move-in, including trash removal, repairs, and cleaning.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas: pick up trash, sweep sidewalks, clean offices, hallways, pool areas, and more.
  • Complete service requests within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Assist with property inspections and monitor for maintenance issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance shop and organize tools/supplies.
  • Report all on-site incidents or concerns to the Property and Service Managers.

What You Must Bring:

  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Pool Certification (required)
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential property management maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality
