Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting students with SEND? Axcis Education is seeking an Experienced Learning Support Assistant for a special needs school in The Forest of Dean, supporting pupils aged 2 to 19 years. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, creative, and compassionate, with experience in supporting individuals with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and challenging behavior.

The school features beautiful grounds and encourages activities like growing fruits and vegetables. The role involves general in-class support, which may include working one-to-one, in small groups, or providing general assistance as needed. Working hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with a daily rate of £93.48.

Experience with ASD, physical disabilities, and severe learning difficulties is required. Strong spoken and written English skills, a passion for supporting students with SEND, and an enhanced DBS on the update service are also necessary. This is a temporary contract with potential to become permanent.
