Martin Oliva Ltd, a leading East London fine jewellery workshop, is seeking an experienced Jewellery Mounter to join its team. You will hand-make and assemble high-value mounts for bespoke and restoration projects, mainly in platinum, gold, and precious metals.

The role demands a minimum of five years’ hands-on experience, strong soldering and setting skills, precise finishing, and the ability to interpret designs and CAD drawings. Excellent craftsmanship and reliability are essential.

We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jewellery Mounter to join our team of professionals in our modern, fully equipped workshop.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and talented bench jeweller with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fine jewellery sector, we’re also open to less experience depending on skill-set and willingness to learn in depth industry knowledge and techniques. You will be responsible for producing and assembling complex mounts for both bespoke and restoration projects, working primarily in platinum, gold, and other precious metals. You must demonstrate Imagination, flair, technical excellence, and a passion for quality, while also being receptive to following instructions, adapting to our workshop standards, and collaborating closely with colleagues in our multi-disciplinary team.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a fine jewellery mounter or goldsmith role
• Demonstrable ability to craft complex fine jewellery pieces by hand.
• Strong knowledge of materials, soldering, filing, and assembly techniques
• Precision finishing and high quality laser work skills
• Skilled in creating mounts for diamonds and high value gemstones.
• Ability to follow precise technical instructions while also bringing your own artistry and solutions.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and quality-focused.
• Excellent time management and a strong sense of responsibility.
