Job description

We are looking for a well-seasoned, experienced HVAC Technician to join our team! Duties will include service and repair of heating / air conditioning systems, geothermal systems, and chilled water systems.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING ***MUST HAVES*** THOROUGHLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY AS WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING CANDIDATES THAT DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA:

• Candidate MUST possess a Senior Technician (Level) skillset and have a thorough understanding of the HVAC trade. Only candidates with several years of demonstrated experience will be considered. Service helpers or apprentice-level candidates will not be considered.
• Candidate will be tested via written exam to validate their HVAC Service Technician skill level.
• Candidate must possess their own tools.
• Candidate must possess a Universal EPA certification.
• Candidate must possess a TDLR card.

Additional requirements include:

• Passing a thorough criminal, driving (history), and employment background check. No exceptions.
• Ability to produce original identification documents (Driver's License, SSN, Birth Certificate, etc.).
• Availability Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Dependability is essential.
• We are NOT hiring sub-contractors for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and make necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members on system upgrades or modifications.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations when working with HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and repair activities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC or related fields.
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams.
• Ability to handle physical workloads.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles and practices.
• Ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC components.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills and team work.
• Experience as a van driver or mechanic is a plus.
• Familiarity with property maintenance is beneficial.
