Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking reliable groundworkers to join the team on a permanent basis. Based at our Chelmsford Head Office, you will travel across the UK with a team to complete scheduled tasks, performing all aspects of groundwork and maintenance to high standards.

Role involves night/day shifts, up to 4 nights away per week, DBS check, and a company policy-backed expense allowance. A van and fuel card are provided, with an annual bonus and pension benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months experience in grounds maintenance.
• Experience with a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card and CPCS 360 ticket required.
• Ability to work at heights and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• General construction work in line with client requirements (paving, kerbing, foundations, drainage, surfacing, concreting).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies on site.
• Deliver high-quality work aligned with company and client expectations.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required.

Job description

Horizon Parking Ltd is currently recruiting for reliable experienced groundworkers to join the team on a permanent basis.

Working from our Head Office in Chelmsford, the role will involve working in a team of experienced groundworkers to travel across the UK and complete your allocated/scheduled tasks, carrying out all aspects of groundwork and ground maintenance duties, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards in line with our expectations.

Responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

• General construction work in line with client requirements, including paving, kerbing, installing bollards / machines / equipment, foundation work, drainage, finishing works, surfacing, concreting etc.
• Ensuring full compliance with company and on-site client health and safety policy and requirements.
• Delivering a high-quality work in line with company and client expectations.
• Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Experience/Skills required:

• Minimum of 12 months experience of working in grounds maintenance field.
• Experience of using a range of power tools and equipment.
• CSCS Card.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Full driving licence.
• CPCS 360/Digger ticket

Important Information:

• This role will require travel and working away from home on a planned basis of up to 4 nights per week if required.
• Due to our company driving and insurance policy applicants must be over the age of 21 and have held their driving licence for more than 6 months.
• Some of the work we do requires the groundwork teams to work through the night so the successful applicant must be flexible to work both day or night shifts if required.
• The successful applicant for this role will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
• Hotel accommodation and subsistence allowance is provided in line with our Company Expense Policy.
