Job description

Optimise Recruitment is looking to recruit experienced Gas Cutter/Burners to carry out work on a project in Peterborough based at the Peterborough Power Station (PE1).

Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities

1. Gas cutting metals and large metal objects down to size to ensure safe re-processing and recycling.
2. Gas cutting rails to grade specific sizes.
3. Meeting targets and tonnages to complete contractual orders.
4. Assisting in other yard duties.

Hours are 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

Free parking available.

Schedule: 10 - 12 hour shifts

Experience: Gas Cutting/Burning: 1 year (required)
