Job summary

Jdr Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative - FLT to join a busy manufacturing site in the UK. The role focuses on moving ingredients, packaging and finished goods safely and efficiently, using Counterbalance and Reach Trucks.

You will receive deliveries, store them correctly and ensure just-in-time materials reach production lines. The role requires good teamwork and compliance with Health & Safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Holds the relevant FLT licences or certificates.
• Prior experience operating counterbalance and reach trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of Health & Safety and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive, check and store deliveries correctly.
• Deliver ingredients and packaging to production lines on a just-in-time basis.
• Load finished products for dispatch.
• Complete warehouse paperwork and records accurately.
• Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety and GMP requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet daily requirements.

Warehouse Operative - FLT & Reach Truck

Must hold relevant FLT Licences - Counter Balance or Reach Truck

Monday to Friday, alternating 06:00 to 18:00

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative - FLT to join a busy manufacturing environment.

You will play an important role in ensuring ingredients, packaging and finished products are moved safely and efficiently around the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Trucks safely and efficiently


• Receive, check and correctly store deliveries


• Deliver ingredients and packaging to production lines on a just-in-time basis


• Load finished products ready for dispatch


• Complete warehouse paperwork and records accurately


• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene


• Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety and GMP requirements


• Work closely with the Warehouse and Production teams to meet daily requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience operating Counterbalance and Reach Trucks


• Holds the relevant FLT/Reach Truck licences or certificates


• Has previous warehouse or manufacturing experience


• Understands the importance of Health & Safety and Food Safety


• Is confident operating machinery and completing paperwork


• Has good communication and teamwork skills


• Is reliable, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities


• Takes pride in maintaining high standards and looking for ways to improve
