DS Smith in Smethwick is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance driver to join the site team. Immediate start available for an operator skilled in loading, unloading, and goods movement within a production/warehouse setting.

Shifts: Mon-Thu 6am-2pm and Fri 6am-1pm, then alternate week 2pm-10pm and Fri 1pm-8pm; pay £16.27 per hour. The role is initially a 3-month contract with a view to ongoing employment.

Competenze

• 3+ years of recent FLT Counterbalance experience.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• UK Health and Safety knowledge.

Mansioni

• Ensuring smooth flow of goods from receiving to dispatch.
• Operating FLT Counterbalance (3500kg).
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
• Working with other FLT Drivers and Warehouse Operatives in picking and packing activity.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area at all times.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations at all times and encouraging others around you to do the same.
