Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Pershore, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to join a busy packaging manufacturer. You will set up and operate wide-web flexographic presses, producing high-quality designs on flexible substrates and paper, with a 48-hour week and rotating 12-hour day/night shifts.

The role emphasizes print quality, process troubleshooting, 5S housekeeping, and BRC safety compliance, with paid breaks and opportunities to work with specialist equipment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in flexographic printing.
• Experience operating wide-web flexographic printing presses.
• Knowledge of lamination and slitting processes.
• Experience with print mounting processes.
• Knowledge of solvent-based inks and flexible packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing machinery to produce high-quality designs up to eight colours.
• Maintain high print quality, accuracy and productivity.
• Optimise press speeds to maximise output and minimise downtime.
• Monitor printing process, identify issues and troubleshoot problems.
• Escalate maintenance issues and work with other departments to resolve production problems.
• Complete shift handovers and support and train new starters.
