Your mission

• Allsaved is a leading provider of fire safety and compliance solutions. We are committed to improving fire safety standards across the built environment and are looking for a qualified and highly experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to support our growing workload.

Responsibilities

Fire Alarm Engineers will undertake routine servicing, programming, commissioning, upgrading, and small works to fire alarm and detection systems, ranging from small conventional systems up to large scale multi-panel networked systems. Most of the systems you will work on will be Advanced MXPro 5 with Apollo protocol devices.

Typical sites include:

• Utilities depots and vehicle garages
• High Voltage Substations
• Power Stations
• Unmanned telecoms buildings
• Unmanned data centres

The role involves providing reports on work done, engaging with clients about risks and remedial work, and identifying opportunities to market Allsaved products and services. Extensive experience with complex fire alarm systems (e.g., MXPro 4 & 5, Kentec Syncro, Morley ZX, Notifier ID3000, C-Tec ZFP, Gent Vigilon) and aspiration systems (Vesda, Wagner ASD, Honeywell FAAST) is required. Additional technical skills include CSL Dual coms, Drax Smart Watches, AMX Software, Nimbus Gateway, and more. Fire suppression system experience is preferred but not essential, with training available.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain stock levels and manage tools and equipment on site.
• Interpret Fire Risk Assessments and install extinguishers per standards.
• Input data into works management system and prepare reports.
• Communicate with the office team regarding scheduling and requirements.
• Engage with clients, explain work outcomes, and ensure understanding of risks and remedial actions.
• Upsell and cross-sell Allsaved services and products.
• Complete work to schedule and quality standards.
• Stay compliant with legislation, policies, and codes of conduct.
• Manage tools, stock, and safety standards.
• Provide advice and maintain professional standards.
• Identify opportunities for business growth.

Role Demands

• Respond independently to problems using initiative.
• Handle priorities and interruptions across divisions.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
• Work outdoors and handle chemicals safely.
• Flexibility to stay away overnight as needed.
