Job Description:

A prestigious independent nursery school is seeking a dedicated EYFS Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join their team immediately. The Role:
  • Providing high-quality care and education to children in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), supporting their learning and development through play-based activities.
  • Ensuring that all children are engaged in a stimulating environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
  • Supporting the planning and implementation of EYFS learning activities, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping children develop their social skills in a safe and supportive setting.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of children’s progress, maintaining observation records, and contributing to the creation of individual development plans.
  • Working closely with other practitioners to maintain a high standard of care and teaching, and contributing to team meetings.
  • Establishing strong relationships with parents and communicating effectively about children’s development and well-being.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  • Proven experience working with young children in an EYFS or nursery setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and a commitment to delivering high-quality education and care.
  • Caring, nurturing nature with the ability to engage children and create a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both children and parents.
